As 2024 NFL Football season approaches Nathan-Paul has decided to reveal are list of potential breakout stars that can help win your fantasy football leagues. Every year there are new rookies coming into the league, injuries, free agency, and players ready to breakout we breakdown each offensive position to find those players ready to take the next step and become superstars.
QUARTERBACKS
Anthony Richardson Indianapolis Colts – Often compared to Cam Newton with a bigger arm and blessed with more speed. We expect Anthony Richardson to break out as he gets comfortable in year 2 in the offense plus the addition Adonai Mitchell as long as he can stay healthy we in vision a top 10 qb in points with all goal line touchdowns.
Caleb Williams Chicago Bears – The number 1 pick for USC Trojans is coming to the Chicago bears in a good position as the bears added Kennan Allen and drafted Rome Odunze to shore up the offense with D.J. Moore and Cole Kmet. Caleb Williams is known for keeping plays alive but just needs to get the ball to his playmakers and the stats will be there for a successful fantasy year
Trevor Lawrence Jacksonville Jaguars– Last year Trevor was playing injured most of the year however when Christian Kirk went down in week 13 the whole offense suffered. The Jacksonville jaguars on paper have a good offense and added Gabe Davis in free agency and added Brain Thomas in the draft. This year may be the year Trevor Lawrence reaches top five status.
Jordan Love Green Bay Packers – The last eight games proved to many that Jordan Love is the answer throwing 268.8 yards per game and tossing 18 TDs and only one interception. The Packers young offense is ready to explode with Doubbs, Watson, Reed, Musgrave, and the addition of Josh Jacobs this offense can crack the top 10.
Jayden Daniels Washington Commanders -Jayden Daniels could be a hit or miss however Washington Commanders offense has playmakers so picking Jayden Daniels in the late rounds could be a diamond in the rough. I predict in the second half of the season Daniels will be comfortable under Kliff Kingsbury offense throwing to Terry McLaurin, and Jahon Dotson.
RUNNINGBACKS
Bijan Robinson Atlanta Falcons – I fully expect with new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson and new quarterback Kirk Cousins Bijan Robinson will break out for over 1500 total yards as he will benefit greatly from the new additions and pass heavy offense.
Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles – This pick comes with major risk as Saquon has had injury issues over the year but enter an offense with Jalen Hurts, Devonta Smith, AJ Brown, and Dallas Goedert so the yards will come as long as he can stay on the field.
Breece Hall New York Jets – Breece is a player who can take it to the house anytime he touches the ball however last 2 seasons injury’s and poor quarterback hurt Breece fantasy output. Breece Hall fantasy output will be directly linked with how many games Aaron Rodgers can play fingers crossed.
De’von Achane Miami Dolphins – De’von averaged 14.2 touches and 113.8 total yards a game but injuries and splitting time with Raheem Mosert hurts his potential fantasy output. De’von risk is worth the reward if he can stay on the field and take away carries away from raheem or take over on the depth chart.
James Cook Buffalo Bills – From week 11 to 18 James Cook was averaging 19.6 touches and 104.3 total yards per game and I can see this increasing in 2024 season as the offense will revolve around James Cook and Dalton Kincaid.
WIDE RECIEVERS
Drake London Atlanta Falcons -I believe with Kirk Cousins at the helm Drake’s numbers are going to explode and can see Drake surpassing 1200 yards and 10 TDS so grabbing this duo late in fantasy will be huge.
Garret Wilson New York Jets – Garret Wilson can become a top 5 wide receiver in the NFL if Aaron Rodgers can stay healthy so this pick is risky. Last year Garret Wilson ranked 9th in target share (27%) while the jets ranked 30th in completions with horrible QB play.
Marvin Harrison Jr. Arizona Cardinals – The hype surrounding Marvin Harrison Jr. is huge but I expect him to have chemistry right away with Kyler Murray and top 15 wide receiver in his rookie year is not out of the question. Ohio State has produced many NFL wide receivers but Marvin may be the best.
Malik Nabers New York Giants – Another stud wide receiver from LSU going to the giants de ja vu? Nabers is expected to be a wr1 right away in this offense the only thing that may hold back nabers numbers is his quarterback Daniel Jones.
Jayden Reed Green Bay Packers – Late last season Jayden Reed became a favorite target in the slot for Jordan Love and could become WR1 but there is some risk as Romeo Doubbs, Christian Watson, and Luke Musgrave also command targets.
TIGHTENDS
Sam Laporta Detroit Lions -If you had Sam Laporta last year he was one of the steals in fantasy last year he finished with 86 passes for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns to finish as the overall TE1. I believe this year he can outpace last years numbers in Detroit’s high powered offense.
Trey McBride Arizona Cardinals – In his second year Trey finished 81 catches for 825 yards and three touchdowns I believe his TD totals will increase as defenses will try to shut down Marvin Harrison JR.
Kyle Pitts Atlanta Falcons – Every year we believe Kyle Pitts is going to break out but I believe in a new offense with Kirk Cousins I expect Kyle to have a similar stat line to TJ Hawkenson.
Brock Bowers Las Vegas Raiders -I think the raiders had their eye on a QB in the draft and had the best TE fall to them in the draft. Brock is blessed with athleticism and is known yards after the catch. Even with Davante Adams on the squad Brock will be relevant in fantasy.
Dalton Kincaid Buffalo Bills – During the end of the season we witnessed Josh Allen involving TE more and believe with Stephon Diggs departure Dalton can reach 80 catches 800 yards 8 TDs.
