Four Teams That Need To Hit On 2025 NFL Draft

The NFL draft is only a week away with all the pundits releasing their mock drafts and analysis on who is rising and failing. The NFL draft is the official start of the NFL season where teams can dramatically improve their team on paper and on rare occasion big trades happen on draft night.
Who doesn’t remember the Tennessee Titans trading A.J Brown for 18th overall pick in 2022 draft and 3rd rounder and selecting Treylon Burks WR from Arkansas. Some weird things happen on draft night and these are the four teams who need to hit on 2025 NFL draft.
CLEVELAND BROWNS
Cleveland Browns 2024 draft was average and addressed some key areas however coming into 2025 quarterback needs to be high on there list. Cleveland has the second overall pick and I believe two way star Travis Hunter needs to be the pick and wouldn’t be surprised if QB is selected in the second round or Cleveland jumps back into the first if Shadeur Sanders or Jaxson Dart slips.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
The Pete Carroll era starts in Vegas with many key additions in free agency among the biggest was signing 13 year QB vet Geno Smith. I believe Las Vegas will be looking to add best player available in the trenches in the first round whether Mason Graham DL from Michigan or Will Campbell OT from LSU. Many pundits have Ashton Jeanty RB from Boise State going to raiders which makes sense however this draft is loaded from the running back position and can be selected in the later rounds.

CAROLINA PANTHERS
Carolina Panthers need a good draft to help Bryce Young develop as the QB showed promise last six games he played. Carolina Panthers need to add wide receiver, outside linebacker, and safety and believe they will target Tetairoa McMillan WR from Arizona who has rare combination of size, hands, and running routes. Matthew Golden the WR speedster from Texas may also be the pick.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
New England Patriots enter the 2025 season with 130 million in salary cap space, and new couch Mike Vrabel a new regime is in place in Foxboro. The patriots have plenty of needs on both sides and believe best player available is in play. Abdul Carter or Mason Graham is in play. Don’t sleep on Patriots if Drake Maye can get some help this team may be wild card bound.
