College football season is almost here and we wanted to shine the spotlight on a special player from Colorado Buffalos Travis Hunter. Coming out of high school Travis was regarded as top five star recruit coming out of high school and had many offers to top Divisional one school but choose to go to Jackson State Tigers coached by Deion Sanders.
Travis Hunter transferred to Colorado Buffalos in 2023 following his coach Deion Sanders he was selected as a 2023 Consensus All-American and second-team All-PAC-12. Hunter was also chosen winner of the Paul Hornung Award. Travis Hunter is a must watch on Colorado as a dual threat as a shutdown corner and wide receiver, also plays on special teams.
Overall, Hunter projects as a capable coverage cornerback who understands primary zone principles. His athleticism, instincts, and ball skills give him a Pro Bowl-caliber ceiling, possibly higher. Hunter resembles Marcus Peters, but with more explosiveness and speed. I feel Travis Hunter will be a top ten draft pick and maybe his future NFL teams will allow him to play on offense and special teams.
